Indianapolis delivered an incredible experience for everyone who attended the 2023 Trigard Conference. The event kicked off with the Colts vs. Browns game, and we even had the opportunity to go out onto the field afterward!
This set the stage for a broad range of discussions the following day, covering topics from succession planning to safety standards and industry strategies. There was a definite buzz surrounding our up-and-coming dealer tools, as well as our new line of appliqués, “The Bridge.”
The recently renovated Homewood Suites by Hilton provided the ideal venue for our group of over 60 attendees to network and reminisce between sessions. On Monday evening, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and soaked in some breathtaking views of the city at The Rathskeller, then huddled around the fire pit as the evening cooled down.
One of the event’s highlights was recognizing some of our All-Star players who truly stepped up this year. Baker Landscaping & Excavation, Inc. was awarded Rookie of the Year, while Southside Grave & Vault, Inc. was honored with the Industry Advocate award. Our co-MVPs were Roberts Vault Company, Inc. and Watts Vault and Monument Company. Santieu Vaults, Inc. clinched the trophy for Biggest Jump. And last, but certainly not least, Steve Handley from Handley Precast Systems, Inc. earned the title, “Mr. Trigard.” Congratulations to our award winners and everyone on Team Trigard for an outstanding year!
Our Homecoming visit to Danville was a touchdown finish to a stellar conference. Touring the manufacturing plants offered unique insights into the intricacies of our production processes, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the tailgate lunch.
On behalf of the Darby family and the entire Trigard team, we want to thank those who were able to make it to this exceptional conference. We trust everyone departed with fresh insights and invaluable knowledge. We certainly learn so much FROM YOU every time we come together. Looking forward to the next one!

I was a Wilbert Vault manager now retired, I didn’t know that Trigard had Training seminars. “Way to go”
